Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PhlebGuide collects when you use this site or ask us to connect you with a phlebotomy training program, how we use it, and who we share it with. PhlebGuide is a directory and referral service. We are not a school, we do not enroll students, and we are not affiliated with the programs listed unless we say so on the page.

Information we collect

When you submit a request form, we collect what you type into it:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• The state you are searching in, and the school page you submitted from
• Whether you ticked the consent box, and the exact wording you agreed to

We also record technical details that arrive with the request automatically: your IP address, browser user agent, the page URL, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. We keep these to prove where and when a request was made, and to tell real submissions apart from automated ones.

Browsing the site without submitting a form collects only aggregate, non-identifying usage measurements — which pages were viewed, from which country and device type. We do not use these to build an advertising profile of you.

How we use it

• To respond to your request and answer questions about programs
• To match you with training programs that fit the state and school you asked about
• To keep a record that you consented to be contacted, and how
• To understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the directory

Who we share it with

If you tick the consent box, we share the contact details you gave us with training programs that match your request, and those programs may contact you directly. We may be paid by a school or an education marketing partner when we refer you. That payment never changes what a program costs you, and it does not guarantee admission.

By checking this box I agree that PhlebGuide and up to four matched phlebotomy training programs may contact me at the phone number and email I provided, including by autodialed calls, prerecorded messages and text messages. Consent is not a condition of enrollment or purchase. Message and data rates may apply. I may opt out at any time.

If you do not tick the box, we do not pass your phone number to anyone. We use your email only to reply to you.

We also use service providers who process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes: our website host, our database provider, and our email delivery provider. We will disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

Your choices

• Stop contact. Reply STOP to any text message, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or tell the caller to remove you. You can also email us at bryce@gullstack.com.
• Access, correct, or delete. Email us and we will confirm what we hold about you and delete it on request.
• Withdraw consent. You can withdraw consent at any time. It does not affect contact that already happened, and we cannot recall information already passed to a school — contact that school directly to be removed from its records.

California residents

Under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, referring you to a school in exchange for payment counts as "selling" or "sharing" your personal information. You have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of that sale or sharing, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To opt out, email bryce@gullstack.com with the subject line Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Simply leaving the consent box unticked also keeps your details from being sold or shared.

Children

This site is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.

Retention and security

We keep request records for as long as we need them to answer you and to evidence your consent, and no longer than five years unless the law requires otherwise. Data is held on access-controlled infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we share information will be described here before they take effect.
